In memory of " Orga ". Valhanna Brave of Karluk.
04/11/1998 - 13/02/ 2012
Orga will always be known as the Hug a Husky photo dog, he would take his place on the sled and pose for a photo like the superstar that he was.

Such a special dog that touched the hearts of all those who met him, run free now Orga & wear your silver harness with pride.
Jayne what very sad news. A lovely dog and so gentle. My daughter and grandchildren are very upset and you know he was Alan's favourite.
Draw comfort from the fact that he had a very happy life with you and all his team.
Love and Best wishes

Sending lots of love and hugs to you, I was so very sad to hear your news about Orga, I truly adored him.
I gained great pleasure in giving him a hug and for that moment it was like having a husky of my own just for a minute.
Take comfort in that he was a truly loved and contented dog that always looked so happy and that was all down to you.
Kind regards, Val Stone.xxx

Orga, you were the proudest dog of such a strong breed, ive spent time with you since you were a pup, and remember the first day i met you, just this tiny ball of fluff, with those big beautiful blue eyes! you will always be remembered as 'the photo dog' everybody loved you and wanted a photo with you, you are soo beautiful, and ment soo much to me that i was able to spend all the time with you from your puppy days till your golden old age.
you have left us all so sad and the tears will never dry, for you were truely one in a million. you are free from pain and running free at the rainbow bridge, continue to look after your pack, we know where ever we go you will be there.
All my love to you forever. xxxxx

Orga enjoyed a full and fun-filled life with the Karluk Husky pack.Even in his golden years he kept his post as lead dog in the photographs. Many patron of the 'Hug a Husky' events would look for him, ask about him, and request him in their own portraits. Many many more will remember him from the photos they have with him next to them.
Orga was probably the most recognisable member of the Karluk Husky Team. His blue eyes, calm nature and devotion to the people who visited the pack were unique among the team and his dedication to the 'Hug a Husky' photographs was seconded only by Jayne herself. They truly were a magical pair who were the life and soul of every event.
Tristan Findley (Alopex Productions) has had the special privilege of working closely with Orga, and indeed with every member of the Karluk Husky team.
Orga, may all your days now be filled with light and happiness, now you have passed beyond our reach. We will see you again, in the place where no shadows fall.
